Hello friends!!

How are y’all doing? I know we are all experiencing the storm of this global pandemic, and it is affecting us very differently.  I am happy that social distancing has flattened the curve.  And I’m grateful to everyone on the front lines helping those infected with COVID-19, and putting their own lives at risk.  What a noble job.

I don’t know about y’all, but  while I’m sooooo grateful for so much, I find myself on this feelings rollercoaster: from feeling hopeful to concerned, joyful to annoyed, unmotivated to dreaming big dreams.  What a wild ride it is.  I’ve also been tempted to compare myself as I’ve been spending more time on social media than I have for awhile.  How true it is that comparison is the thief of joy.  I’m comparing my motherhood experience to what I perceive others are experiencing.  Social media makes it seem like moms are having the time of their life getting creative and homeschooling their kids, and I’m over here grieving the loss of my 7 hours of quiet time that my daughter was in school.  Running a successful small business during a global pandemic while parenting, homeschooling, and self-caring, and being intentional in marriage and friendship is quite exhausting, and sometimes I feel like I’m losing the battle.

So here I am to tell you, that I will be doing less social media scrolling.  And more gratitude journaling.  I do have soooo much to be grateful for. I truly have been blessed beyond measure. And I want to put Philippians 4 into practice.  So I will be focusing on what is true and noble, honorable and praiseworthy.  Want to join me?

Meanwhile, check out these gorgeous new parents who love their daughter (and each other) tremendously.  They are parenting a newborn during a global pandemic.  And they are doing it loving, graciously, and authentically.  These two are seriously and incredible team.  They are so loving and attentive to each other and strengthening themselves in the Lord, who equips them to pour our their love on their new bundle so well.

I mean seriously!  LOOK at this radiant love they have among them?  Can’t you see it? And feel it?
Also, let’s talk about this nursery!  AHHHH hello gorgeousness!  Can I live in this room?  The baby can stay in there too. ????. But seriously, I’m hiring this talented mom in my future to help me create beautiful spaces in my home.  Let’s not to mention the lighting in this room is on point!  And let me tell you, this matters!  Lighting matters so much in photography. We made certain that we were doing this session in this room when we were sure to get the best lighting.  

She’s such a gorgeous baby girl!  Look at her sweet little features!

Check out this pick below.  As this sweet little model was in her little basket, look at what her sweet parents were doing in the background.  Unprompted.  Just loving gazing at their baby girl while holding on to each other (and coffee, because, well, coffee. enough said)Yes, y’all, this momma is a sweet and loving as she is stunningly beautiful.  She has a heart of gold, and greets everyone, whether she knows you a not with a joy-filled smile and big hug (well, I imagine during social distancing, you’d only get a joy-filled smile).
We recreated their birth announcement…. so fun!  I should’ve taken picture of their birth announcement.  Next time.
We made dreams come true as dad serenaded his girls. If you know these two personally.  You know they have the purest hearts.  They love others soooooo well.  it’s such a gifting on their lives.  This baby girl is so blessed by these two.  Truly.  And I know she is a blessing to them as well.Y’all, let’s talk about how fleeting this time can be!  It’s never to early to book your lifestyle newborn session.  Let’s capture these moments for your family too.  I don’t think you will regret it.  I mean look at these sweet baby snuggles!!

Although photoshoots are on a temporary pause, until shelter-in-place is lifted in Georgia, we are booking well into Fall 2020.  Also, one of the perks of doing a lifestyle session rather than a posed newborn photoshoot is that we can do a lifestyle session up until your new addition is
