One of my favorite parts of newborn photoshoots, is not only being invited into someone’s home, but into their lives.  Right away I hit it off with this little beauty’s parents.  It’s amazing how naturally we can just click with people.  They shared their story about how they met, and and their first few dates, laughing through every little detail.  They shared their journey about growing their family and inviting this baby girl to their clan.  This joy-filled couple will be the first to tell you how God has brought so much beauty to their family’s story.   Being part of their newborn photography experience was such a delight for me, and I left their home with a full heart of gratitude– that they would entrust me to capture this special time.

When it’s 80 degrees in October, you take the newborn and her doting family outside.  I love how they each gushed over her, arguing who would snuggle her next.
