This family is so dear to me.  They have entrusted me to be their family photographer since their oldest was one month old.  And when you’ve done several photoshoots for the same family over a period of time, they really do become friends. I think their oldest, L, knows that we’re framily. Oftentimes during the photoshoot he wants to spend time with me.  So we negotiate hugs and holdings:  “L, after we are done with this picture, I will come pick you up.”  And just like that, he holds his end of the bargain, and I hold mine. I think I get the better end of the deal.

Funny Story:

It was the very beginning of the photoshoot, and I had just asked mom how, L, their oldest, does around water.  All of a sudden, we heard a splash, and looked over to see  L was shin deep in pond water.  He was looking back at us with a bit of concern and amazement.  I wondered how this little two-and-a-half year old was going to handle having wet pants, socks and shoes the rest of the photoshoot.  After the shock and discomfort wore off, L was apparently unfazed and unaffected by his soggy socks and shoes.  And he went on about the shoot like it was just another day at the park.
